Comparison
The same idea as Superwhisper, at 1% of the lifetime price
Both apps run Whisper on your own silicon and type the result at your cursor. The difference is $246 and about forty settings.
The short answer
Voz Whisper is $2.99 once. Superwhisper is $84.99 a year or $249 for a lifetime licence. Both transcribe locally on Apple Silicon.
Superwhisper is the more configurable product by a wide margin — multiple models, custom modes, bring-your-own-key LLM clean-up, Windows and iOS. Voz does one thing with one model and no configuration. Which is better depends entirely on whether you want the dials.

The honest framing
Superwhisper is a power tool. Its users routinely describe the initial setup as closer to configuring a server than installing an app, and that is not really a criticism — the configurability is the product. If you want a specific Whisper variant, per-application dictation modes, and an LLM pass to reshape your speech into an email, that is what you are paying for.
Voz is the opposite bet. One model, chosen for you, already inside the download. No modes, no keys, no account. It is finished being set up the moment it opens. At $2.99 there is no meaningful risk in finding out whether the simple version is enough — for a lot of people, dictating Slack messages and notes, it is.
Where Superwhisper genuinely wins
Larger Whisper models are more accurate than the base model Voz bundles, especially on accented speech, technical vocabulary and noisy rooms. If you have tried a small model and found it not quite good enough, that is a real limitation and a bigger model is the real fix. Superwhisper also runs on Windows and iOS, and its lifetime licence covers a lot of years.
